MN Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children’s Family Camp is geared towards hearing parents of deaf children to provide meaningful connection among parents and their kiddos while providing a camp experience.

While we encourage everyone to learn ASL, we have a staff of interpreters to facilitate communication, whether through sign or spoken English.

As much as we would love to offer this experience for no cost, we do need to charge to cover the cost of renting our space at Camp Courage, food, interpreters and deaf mentors, and additional supplies for activities.
If cost is an issue, we do offer scholarships and also encourage people to reach out to their local Lion’s Club.

All are welcome but the camp is geared towards connecting and educating hearing parents and their deaf or hard of hearing children.
However, we do need deaf mentor volunteers. If you’re interested, please contact us!

Camp is typically four days long, Thursday through Sunday, so that we can accommodate families and their work schedules.

All kids are required to my accompanied by a parent or guardian, but there will be periods for adult education classes while our volunteer staff watch after your kiddos.
